How are they shipped? Like, what type of box, how big, etc? I can't wait to get mine next week!

I ordered 6 chicks from them they arrived on a Wednesday. Hatch date was August 10th they arrived on the 12th.

The box looks like this:

I can't wait to see what you got since I ordered the same 25 Pullet Special but mine ship 9/21/09 because that's when most of the ones I was hoping for are avail. I had the new Rep put under the substitution comments that I was hoping for 5 EE's, 5 Light Brown Leghorns, 5 Speckled Sussex, 5 Golden and/or Silver Lace Wyandottes, 5 White Plymouth Rocks.

The peeps are here! They are all safe and sound. There are 9. We ordered 8, but we got a packing peanut. I was so glad. We called to add a few to our order a week ago, but they didn't have anything that we needed. They are the most beautiful chicks I've ever seen. I'm not just being a proud chicky mommy, either. None of my Mt. Healthy chicks looked this good, and especially not the ones we got from a local farm. I'll post pictures later if you guys want them.

This is my first time ordering in the mail and had no idea what they might arrive in. My DH and DS are amazed you can get live chicks in the mail.
