when to feed early duckling?

I had a duck hatch on day 25 and had not completely absorbed the yolk sack and it was still attached for a while. My question is that since it didn't get all the yolk should it be fed earlier or because it is early it isn't ready for food and water??? It just hatched last night so it is still in the bator drying.

Thanks for any advice!
