When to feed layer pellets to pullets

I have 16 week old pullets and my dad mistakenly got reg layer pellets instead of chick food. *___* Is it ok for them to have it? I know it's bad for especially young birds because of calcium,but they are almost laying age. I have them in with my adult birds so they have been on chick feed too.

16 weeks is about the age I begin to switch mine to layer feed. By this age it shouldn't hurt them. Though they may reject the pellets at first as they are used to crumble.
