A rat is not going to affect taste of meat or eggs. But you have to be sure it died by the a trap and not some poison you have out for them, because rat poison stays in the blood, and when a chicken eats the rat...Death. OR severely sick and passed on to eggs, then we eat the egg and we get severely sick.
