When to give first worming?

Ok... Have had peafowl for about 8 years now but this is first year with Peachicks so I need help...
Have some month old Peachicks and some 2 week old youngins... Do I need to worm them? If so, when? And what other things should I be doing for them to keep them healthy ???
They are housed in a playpen brooder with their heat and I have given them CORID already but figure that can't be it ....

I don't keep peafowl, but I do keep chickens and I have never had to worm them.

Last year I had three chicks that hatched under a broody peahen. One of them died at three months when I dewormed all my birds. Kathy has the pic of the load of roundworms we found when we did the necropsy. Those chicks were on the dirt from day one, it died from toxic overload of too many dead and decomposing worms in its system.

I am not sure of the correct answer, but I would think four weeks after they hit the dirt. And keep in mind that medications are given for a prescribed weight, you have to do the math.

I would if I could, but we can't afford any vet care for our chickens as the economy still isn't doing so well around us.

I was also wondering this. 4 weeks after hitting dirt sounds good! How long should you wait to have them hit the dirt? Critters, did you start weighing yours?

Here are the "bugs" we worry about. I think the "prepatent period" should dictate when treatment might be needed, but don't quote me on that.
