There isn't a cord, per se, just a bulge and and opening in his abdomen.

Him he's got to have a cord maybe he's not in a position where you can se it, don't panic if his vent is swelled up totally normal and will shrink down. Did you look inside his shell to make sure there's no yolk??

He's vent will close up, once that happens you'll see him start to lift his head and move about more.

No, he couldn't stay upright. I sort of stabilized his egg and he kicked his way out. It's sort of greenish yellow. Should I keep the incubator same temp?

Ok well that probably didn't help him you want them to struggle so they get strong and work those muscles but that ok he'll be fine.. Yes keep your settings the same give him 24 hours to dry off by then he should be up and walking around, it's best to put him on a wire flooring so they can grip something with there big flappy feet. They will learn to use there toes this way which will help them push themselves up working those legs muscles..
