We intervened too early with our first Muscovy clutch and lost the first one. We left the next ones for around 30 hours before helping them out. It was an anxious wait.

Awe so sorry you lost one. That was my worry. Either acting too fast or not fast enough and losing the little one either way. But after a lot of waiting the little bugger finally busted out on its own.
