When to introduce you new chicks to your flock?

Hello!
I have 5 happy hens, and recently got 6 new chicks. When do you introduce them to each other? Or, if there is a link to read up on the best way to do this, that would be helpful too!

It's best to seperate them behind a barrier at first while they get used to each other. To be totally unsupervised, the chicks need to be nearly the same size as the adult birds.

Wait until they are the same size. UGH I give you credit...I tried this and could not do it. This is how I ended up with five coops!

I am such a wimp when it comes to my babies. Hate seeing them be picked on
