When to mix babies?

So I have 5 almost 8 week old chicks in the coop outside already. I have 8 almost 4 week old chicks in the garage. When and how should I put these babies together in the coop. I'm in Virginia and we are in the 90's already during the day so heat lamp is off all the time. Never had to do this so unsure of how to go about it correctly. And I dont want any of my babies hurt. Thank you in advance.

Well that's where it varies. One of the older ones is huge but is best friends with the bantam chick of the same age then the rest are in between and the younger ones are the size or a little bigger than the bantam chick.

Since the younger chicks are about the same size as the bantam, I would put them in together. I would just do it when you can keep an eye on them for awhile.
