Hi everyone! I have some chicks that appear to be fully feathered. When should I begin to transfer them to the outside coop?? Considering it is October, almost November and I live in Kansas it will be chilly. I plan on gradually doing this.

Any comments on the general age to do this? They are 4 weeks old right now.

    Thank you, thank you!!

If it's cold, they'll be fine at 6 weeks.

Let them out during the day. At night bring them inside. When they are about six weeks old put them out with a heat lamp. At seven weeks remove the heat lamp.
