Hi! New chicken owner here :)
I purchased our chicks last week from Tractor Supply and I didn’t ask how old they were. (Rookie mistake!)
Anyone have an idea of how old our girls are?
And with that information, any idea of when they’ll be ready to move from the brooder to the coop? For reference of outdoor temps, we are in Bay Area CA.

Tip on photos, turn off the red light. Guessing around 2-3 weeks based on tails but hard to see rest of feather growth.

Have you started actively reducing your temperature inside the brooder? Can you post your expected outdoor temps in the next few weeks?

I have my chicks off heat at 4 weeks but they grow up outdoors so they're naturally acclimated to those temperatures.

About 2-3 weeks is my guess. Definition of "coop ready" has a lot of factors. We are opposite side of the country from you in Maryland. I do 8 weeks and wean gradually from heat. My young ones are currently about 6 weeks and the heat is barely doing anything at this point. They will be off it completely in another week. If they still huddle together at night close to your heat source, they aren't ready.
Welcome to the world if chickens!!! Congrats.
