When to open nest boxes?

My girls are 14 weeks old, and I have kept the nest boxes covered. When do I open them? I know they start laying between 18-24 weeks, but is there any chance they may start early?

Edited: oops, 24 months would have been waaaayy to long to wait for eggs!!

i say open them at about 16 weeks if this is how you chose to do it i let mine have nest boxes as soon as i found one lol
