I used the kids old plastic Easter EggsFilled them with some gravel but thinking about it now sand would have been easier, and glued them shut. Works great!
Hmmm. That's a good idea. I have some pastel-coloured kids Easter eggs around here that I could use. Those ceramic eggs are expensive on Amazon.ca. You just saved me ten bucks (for only two ceramic eggs)!



I put the peachy colored ones in at first. Then decided to put more colors in but then my hen went broody so out came the eggs, by then they had learned where to lay. Then I had to break the broody
