When to process after Sulmet treatment?

It seems our chicks had coccidiosis. We treated them and they are all doing great. That was 3 days ago. The bottle says 10 days for egg layers for withdrawl, but says nothing about meat birds. Will the medication be out of their bodies/muscles soon?
Also, they are 10 weeks old. Is it time for the sad day? My hubby and I are dreading it, it will be our first time.
