When should I start my chicks on oyster shell, grit and regular chicken feed? 2wk black jersey giants, 1wk isa browns, light brahmas and golden laced wyandottes. Also, 3wk guineas if anyone has any advice on them! We're new and want to do things right. Thanks for any help!

Oyster shell and layer feed can be started around the time the chicks start laying. Some people start feeding layer at a set time, like 16 or 18 weeks, I prefer to wait until there's actually eggs, as my chickens have always started laying on the late side.

Grit I start providing right away. There's different sizes of grit (from chick to pullet to hen) so make sure to provide the right size grit for their size/age to maximize the benefit of it.

I know nothing about guinea requirements.
