I have 5 pilgrim goose eggs in the bator hatching for the first time. It is now 330 in the morning and the first egg has been pipped for 18 hours with very little further development. I now have three pipped and all making noise. Humidity reads 80 percent, I just committed a sin and opened the bator to put a bowl with a wet cloth in to raise the humidity a little more, thinking i really cant hardly have it to high if they have opened up.... I think I have read they can take a long time to zip, but I have so much invested in these little guys in time and emotions. How long do I wait to help???
Go back to sleep, go back to sleep.... arghh!!!!!
