When to start restricting their food?

I have 1.5 week old meat king chicks and I am wondering when to start to restrict their food. Next week they will be going outside in their tractor so they will be eating grass as well.

Many do the 12 hour on 12 hour off after 2nd week,so you are close. Will

I start taking their food away after the second week. Mine have NEVER eaten grass, but I know some people have birds that do.
