okay, my 3 boys are just now going through puberty...they've been getting on some of the girls. However, the hens that they choose to get on aren't laying yet. I only have 2 hens laying, and the boys seem to leave the older women alone. The boys are 20 weeks the big girls are 29. When should I be on the lookout for the bull's eye in the eggs I am getting? Or will the guys leave them alone till the other's start laying too and they've figured stuff out?

sorry I'm a little unclear about chicken sex [IMG]

Well all I can say is one of my girls laid her first egg with the bulls eye there! He wasn't going to wait for anything. Git-R-Done
