I have a egg on day 30 in the incubator. First time Hatcher here. He internally piped on Sunday and it’s now Tuesday and he’s moving much slower inside and no external pip. Humidity bumped up to 70 and temp is 100. When do I intervene? It’s been 48 hours since I knew there was a pip. Could have been before. Any help!!

I hear nothing and did the float test. The internal pip isn’t nearly as visible as it was Sunday! Should I score?

Yes, put a safety hole in the air cell. But be very careful on doing float tests I have read more harm can come from them than just assisting.

Also search the articles for the assisted hatching one. You may have to help this one out. Specially if it is malposition, just take it slow. But first safety hole so it can breathe.

Stepped in and this was I found. Any idea what went wrong?
