When to switch to adult food?

I don't think I've seen a commercial feed bag without this information. Interesting how this question gets asked daily though.
You can either follow the feeding program of your feed provider, ie Purina, etc, or the programs laid out in "Raising Chickens 101" or "Raising Chickens For Dummies". Never cared for the "dummies" word, but........

Yes, stupid of me to ask the question without checking the bag, wasn't it? Sorry!

For some reason I thought I had seen on here comments that they shouldn't have the starter feed after 8 weeks. Apparently I made that up in my head!!

Jen, you'll find folks have different feeding programs. The best thing to do is give them feed appropriate for their age and function, whether plain starter, starter/grower, grower (if you can find it) or layer feed.

Here, there is only starter/grower, which is 18% protein and made to feed them till they are of laying age. If you can get pullet grower to slow down their sexual development by around 12 weeks old or so, by all means do that, but if not, they'll do fine on starter or starter/grower, whether medicated against cocci or not.
