When to swtich to grower feed

You should switch chicks to grower feed at 10 weeks.

There is so little difference between chick starter and an all flock feed that most of us just feed out the bag of starter and then open the bag of grower.

There is no cut-off for chick starter. You can feed it as long as you want with no detriment to the chicks.

Be skeptical of product labeling and instructions that are designed to get you to buy stuff you don't need.

And if you are planning on feeding your pullets layer feed after they begin to lay, the same goes for the grower feed. Finish feeding out the bag, supply the pullets with oyster shell free choice on the side, and then open the bag of layer. No harm will come to your chickens by using up the feed you paid for.
