When to take ducking out

So I’ve read multiple articles of when to take ducklings/chicks out of the incubator once hatched.
some sources say to leave them in until everyone’s hatched and other sources say they take them out once they are dry and THEN other sources say to take them out after 48 hours. So confusing!
I have a duckling in my incubator that is almost 24 hours old. It’s pecking at everything and racing around the place. Another ducking just hatched and it’s pecking at the newbie.

Should I leave him/her in there or take her out?

Take it out. Just mist your eggs with warm water right before you shut the incubator. If you're present during hatch I would always remove them right as they're almost dry. If you're not there, they'll be fine for a day or so, but it's not a good idea to leave them in generally. The faster they can get up on their feet the better IMO.

I always take them out when they hatch... unless I'm sleeping then sleep trumps chicks.
