Hey guys.
I have 3 nearly 6 week old pekin ducks.
They have just had a new coop built and has a hutch attached to the end so they can go in there to snuggle and keep warm during the night.
I have also got their pool/pond which isn't very deep at all, they can stand up in it and get out and in of it fine.
Tonight is there first night outside by themselves and they are swimming around in the pond, drinking and playing. I have showed them to where the hutch is as it has straw in there for them to nest on. Is this all okay?
They are nearly fully feathered and they don't look cold at all, they aren't shivering or looked waterlogged. I live in Australia and we are in autumn here and it's about 55° F 13° C where I am during the nights.
Let me know your thoughts. Just a bit worried. Will they be okay?
