when to turn brooder light off?

with chicks 6wks old an nite temps in the 40s an 50s.you can turn the light off at nite.

I turned our night heat lamp off last night. My chickens are about 7 weeks old. The night temp is low-mid 40's here in Middle Georgia. They are doing fine. It builds character!!!

My 6 week olds are still inside (no coop yet) and I still leave the light on because I hate the thought of them being cold... maybe I'm spoiling them.

mine are 10 weeks and they have been living outside ever since they had a set of feathers to keep warm
