When will eggs be fertile

Well it depends whether the roo is a:

Slam-bam-thank you mam or

Do a little dance, make a little love

type roo.


The first will mate with all the hens ASAP whether they want to or not, and eggs fertile in about 3 days.

The second will mate with all the hens within about 5 days and in a week you will have your fertile eggs and happy hens!
