When will former broody begin laying eggs again?

I had a silkie go broody but didn't have any fertile eggs to put under her.
She sat for 3 weeks on nothing.
Now she has been up for a couple weeks but not laying yet.

How long does it take for them to start laying again?

It can take up to 3 weeks for her to start laying again after being broody. Sometimes our Silkies took longer, 4 - 5 weeks.
