When will he crow? *Pictures*

Thank goodness! I was worried he might have a deficiency of some sort or something...

He's an odd duck... er... chicken. He likes to fall over on his side on my lap, then he kind of rolls over and indicates I should be rubbing his belly.

Whatever makes him happy.

I've never heard of a chicken doing that, but he's been doing it since he was a chick.

Same here, I have a game mix who has always been really timid with people, as are his three sister pullets who were hatched with him by his real mama, and raised by her until he was 7 weeks old - they were always pushed around alot by the bigger birds. One of the pullets is actually laying, at 20 weeks, but not a peep from Mr. Motley Crue. The other rooster in the flock is a 22 week old bantam d'uccle, who has been crowing since he was about 8 weeks old - and crows constantly (he's so cute!). I think Motley may be afraid to start crowing!
