when will Hen lay eggs

Recently got a new full grown buff Orpington hen,shes already laid eggs,and even hatched some,now clearly the move from one farm to another is stressfull,so I don't anticipate any eggs for a bit,but I'm curious how long it will take after she settles in before she'll start laying again?and what can I do to help ease the stress and encourage her to lay?
Right now shes just pretty much hanging around inside the coop,although she does come out when their are treats being given,and just to peck around,and each day she seems to be getting a little more relaxed...

Ive spoken to a few people and they've said she should still be laying regardless of the move,and that chickens don't get as stressed out as we often tend to make them out to be, and maybe that's true but the fact is my hen has not laid since I got her, which leads me to think shes stressed!

I have to disagree..
The move most likely DOES have her stressed.
It may take a few weeks before she settles back into her laying routine.

Have you had a change to get her poop tested by a vet for worm loads?

Hi and welcome to BYC. Yep, a move will likely cause stressed induced non-laying for a while. The duration of the hiatus can vary with the bird - some it's just a few days, others can be a couple of weeks. Adding vitamin supplements to her drinking water will do no harm, and as Kiki suggests, maybe its as good a time as any to consider de-worming.

no I haven't,but ive been checking her poop several times a day and its clean! I think its stress plus I noticed when we got her that her toe looks broken,shes walking fine and getting onto perches without any issues... I'm going to give it a few more days,and use Cheyenne pepper in all my birds feed (it helps to flush out worms) just incase she does have any(I know the rest of my flock is clear),also I use fresh garlic cloves in their water as a preventative measure...If by chance I find something ill call the vet..
her comb is a good color,so no indication there that she is ill...She was at a farm,then suddenly cooped up for 24hrs in a carrier,then switched to our carrier,and brought to our farm..If that doesn't spell stress than I don't know what does...

All my birds look healthy ,gaining weight well,good appetite etc...

I thought so...I went out today and got some timothy hay,and a few things to help her feel a little more comfortable...
