When will hen lay?

I just got a laying cuckoo maran hen. She has been with my existing flock for 4 days. On the first day, she got beat up a little, but now is part of the flock and is not getting pecked. When will she start to lay?

I'd like to know, too - I got my maran about 5 days ago - she seems to have assimilated into the little flock well, but no eggs yet. Anyone?
