When will my chickens begin to lay

Some of mine started laying at 23 weeks. Here were some of the signs that mine were about to lay:
- Comb and wattle went from pale to very red
- A lot more vocal
- This weird squatting thing with wings sticking out slightly, tail down, stomping feet (Sexual maturity).
- Nesting behavior

Iv had my chickens since 6/1/24. And they haven’t layed any eggs yet. I have various breeds New Hampshire red
Green queens
Splash Americana
Barred rock

When can I expect them to begin laying.

I got mine the same exact day & 2 of them just started laying!

No to the "treats." The more of those they eat, the less of the good, solid nutrition they will get in the form of the commercial feed which is scientifically balanced. At least, keep the treats down to less than 10% of their diet, or just a tablespoon or so per bird.

I have black australorps, those island reds, barred rocks, and white leghorns. One leghorn is laying & another chicken is too but I’m not sure which one
