When will my duck start brooding?

She's laid 11 eggs in the nest so far. When will she stop & start brooding them? Anxiously waiting here!

Swedish mix. I hope she will. I've been numbering the eggs. How long should I leave them?

I think my drake may have drowned her during mating. She didn't have any injuries and I found her in the pond.

Sorry for the bad news. Do you have or can you borrow an incubator?

I have one. Going to put them in it tomorrow morning. They'll be a week behind the ones that are in there.
