i set them on the 31st in the morning ( and i mean morning morning, like after or around midnight)! through candling i still see one of the two moving around but still no pipping or peeping. i also have 5/6 water chambers filled in my little giant incubator and wet the eggs themselves to. is that to much humidity for just two eggs?

Chicken eggs normally take 21 days, but they can start hatching a couple of days earlier (2-3) and continue hatching for 3-4 after the due date. I've never read that you should wet the eggs.

Good luck with your hatch, what type of chicks are you hatching?

and post pictures once they hatch!!

i got them from a friend; they are supposibly barred rocks. have i added to much humidity!?!?!?

I ask because most people use a Temp and humidity gauge (sorry, the name of it escapes me) Like mine right now is reading 43% humidity,

If they are going to pip, they should be doing so this week....good luck and keep up posted.
i dropped one by accident when i candled!!!!! it busted open the whole bottom part of the chick was not developed at all. was it already dead??? i feel so horrible! the other one can be seen moving around in its shell!

Dont candle them so late in incubation. You screw with the humidity in there when you open the thing. Dont open the incubator during lockdown. Have you removed the auto egg turner?
