When will my goose lay??

I have a 6 month old pair of brown chinese geese. I was wondering how old the female is before she will start to lay? The male has been displaying breeding behavior for a while and occasionally tries to mate with the ducks but shows no interest in her. Thanks for any help!

Most likely she won't start laying till the spring.

Expect some serious laying in the spring, but not the desire to set much from what I have seen with my whites.
