My hens are +-12 weeks old. I'm just curious, when will they start laying? It would be nice to expand my flock by hatching my own chicks...

but I can't do that without eggs can I??

My white leghorn laid her first when she was approx 19 weeks young.

You are impatient for eggs at 12 weeks of age? Hatchery pullets begin laying at 20 weeks at the earliest. Any earlier you will end up with hens with peritonitis, prolapses, etc.

Not impatient, just curious at what age they'd start. Of course I don't expect them to lay now. Only when they're ready.

Sorry! My bad! Humor/sarcasm/etc often gets lost in translation here. Yeah, 20 weeks give or take is average. If you live somewhere that's crazy hot it may change.
