When will my rescued pekins start laying again?

Just an update- my girls are doing wonderful! They are both laying and maybe since my original female saw them she is laying too (i think its her because im finding really small grenish gray eggs everyday too). Two days though ive gotten 3 eggs in the morning and then 1 egg in the afternoon?! The late egg is definitely from one of my new girls, very large and white! Can they lay 2 a day? As a side note some of the eggs ive gotten were quite large and contained 2 yolks. So could this just be them coming back into lay and getting regulated? Thanks for any help!
