When will my rooster start to mate with my new pullets?

I have 7 hens that my rooster mates with regularly. Now I have 20 15 week old pullets. Right now my rooster just text pecks them. When will he try to mate with them? Ten of the newbies are squatting.

Usually when they start laying but they must first intergrate I tot he flock.I introduced a laying hen to my flock and my rooster just now is warming up to her,it’s been about three weeks.

A good roo will not force himself on the pullets until first egg is imminent.

Squatting when and for whom?

Right now my rooster just text pecks them.

I assume this mean the pullets are all living with the cockbird and 7 hens that are over year old?

The pullets squat for me when I catch them. Yes, they are.

Interesting....will be curious to hear when he starts mounting them.
Having had a good mature cockbird in with pullets in the past,
I found that him mounting them was the best sign that eggs were imminent.
