Hello. I purchased a bunch of whiting true blue chicks from McMurray. I have all of the colors! Does anyone know what the adult hens will grown up to look like? Pictures would be great. I have 15 (due to minimum order requirements), but only want to keep a few. Not sure which colors I'd prefer because I have no idea what they turn in to. I'd love any help! Thanks!

RF,
So its been six months since your posting, how have your WTB chickens been for you? I've never had them so I'm interested in a few fact such as rooster(s) compatibility, egg per day?
Have you bred the WTB rooster to other breeds of chickens yet? I know it's early or egg color in outbreeding crosses.

Eggers,
What has your experience been with Whiting True blue chickens?
Waiting on eggs now!

Unfortunately in this order from McM, we ordered 6 but received 7. 2 turned out to be cockerels (they sent us an extra). One pullet had a cross beak. One has started laying, a nice blue. Waiting on the other 5. Hoping the cross beak does ok, but probably won’t hatch any just in case they are her eggs.

Was the egg fertile?
