My Rouen started to lay around 22 weeks. They are tricky. They won't go into a nest box, well actually they have used my chickens nest boxes a couple of times. I sometimes have to search high and low to find the nests. I found eggs buried under about 4" of straw once. Couldn't tell there was a nest there at all. If I clean out one nest, they go lay somewhere else. One of them popped an egg out in the pool! Sometimes I will find a random egg in the middle of the run just sitting there. It's kind of fun searching for the eggs every day! They particularly like hidden darkened places, away from the main activity areas.
