when will my turkey start to gobble his about 5 months old I think hes a tom

My turkeys are almost 5 months old and have just started to make a few feeble attempts at gobbling. Is a small beard starting to grow from his above his breast?

My experience is when they start to gobble you cant shut them up try to have a conversation around 5 or 6 Toms they keep butting in

Do domesticated Toms gobble year round, or only during breeding season like wild turkeys do??

if its only during mating season, then my BBB tom must think its always that season - cuz he's gobbling now once the sun comes up until it goes down.

Domestic turkeys gobble whenever they hear any noise !
