When will she lay eggs? What kind of nest box do I need for her?

I really like this one!!! Would you mind sharing the dimensions for it? And is it covered in the back or is it literally just a triangle?

It's 36'' wide 32" tall at the point and the back it wood just a piece of plywood cut to match the front opening and nailed to the frame..

Well...go figure, I asked right?

When I went out this morning, I let the birds out (it's 31 and raining, yay!) The goose went straight out of the coop and into their house and hunkered down (which I thought was unusual).

I went into the pen to go put out some more straw (my 'dainty' chickens don't like the snow...but I needed to kick them out to clean!) and my gander had a complete personality change. Usually he'll honk good morning...No, this morning I got hissed at like I've never seen him do before! And as I walked towards their house, he got even more agitated and went into a protective hover around the embden!

So, I guess the mating season has reached us! Maybe we'll see eggs in a few days!
