When will she lay?

Ok saturday i saw my gobbler mounting my hen. I havent seen an egg yet? How many days does it take for her to lay it?

I don't know a thing about turkeys .... but I read up on chickens and fertility can be expected after 10 days after the breeding of a roo and hen (this is just in general).

Are Turkeys and chickens egg laying the same?

If she is freeranging she may already be laying in a hidden nest. If she is penned get her a brush pile to hide in and she will be laying soon.

I have been told a clean plastic oil drum works great

I have tried the dog crate and was not impressed with the results. A brushpile to nest under works great but they will use whatever is available when it comes time to nest.
