When will she lay?

I received a red sex link pullet back in early june as a gift. She is 6 and a half months old now. Any idea when she will lay? Her face is all red and her waddles look done growing. I can't wait for the first egg and I want to show my husband that back yard chickens are a good thing. We have a few others but I know they won't lay till December/ January because they are so much younger. Thank you.

I expect that she will start laying quite soon. All Red Stars that I've known have started laying at about five months old. Your's might just be a late bloomer.
