when will she sit?!

ok thanks I could try to get ahold of some maybe on ebay!!! or something she has no signs of quitting!!! so ill try something and as for candling how I do it is I wait until night and then I go you with just a flashlight and and hold the eggs in my index finger and thumb and then rap them with them and stick the light on the opposite side of the eggs and you can see the embryo and depending how dark or light it is in the egg the darker it is the closer it is to hatching while if the light shines completely threw then its fresh or infertile like I did his to my turkey eggs last night and they were solid black I couldent see eny light except from the air sack on the end of the egg so there due eny day! but some I could see straight threw so they were no goo. lol I know that might sound confusing lol im not very good at explaining things but I hope it helped!

Yes this helped thank you so much! Its just that my silkie who is around nine months old went broody a couple days ago and around two of her eggs she is sitting on and one egg is from naked neck silkie who is slso nine months and my silkie roo is also nine months. This will be my first batch of silkies if all goes well, BUT ANYWAYS THIS REALLY HELPED ALOT IM GOING TO GO TRY IT WHEN IT GETS DARKER

well everybody I candled the turkey eggs last night and there was ALOT of movement!!! so I do belive today is the day they will hatch BUT my second turkey hen has desided she wants to be a mommy to! lol so I have 2 very Vicious!!! turkeys guarding those eggs (they have drawn blood) I have the brooder ready for them and all I just feel bad for takeing those peeps from them but last year the same turkey hen sat on lie 7 eggs and all hatched but none lived past 4 weeks because she would fight with all the other hens ect and the peeps would not run and hide so they would get stomped so AND we have about a foot of snow with about 2 inced of solid ice everywhere so its much better if I take them! ill put fake eggs under here when I do that way she will think the eggs were just duds

well the first turkey hatched the other day and when it did i took it from the mother becouse like i said she is horrible at mother hood lol but i put it in our big tub that i have set up for when our chicks from Murry mcmurry hatchery come on the 23rd but i set the little thing in there and under the lamp and then i left for about an hour and a half and when i come back to check on it it was on the other end of the brooder where there no heat and it apeared to be DEAD!! i was very upset at this point so i spent about 5 mins giving it basicly little tiny chick cpr! rubing its back but it was completely limp i mean not even breathing!!!!!!!! so i figured it was dead so i was about to dispose of it but then it hit me that i remeber a guy telling me that they will go into like a dead comma if they get to cold and if you hurry and put them back into heat they will come back to life so i hurried up and stuck it under the lamp and moved the lamp closer and left it for about 20 mins and when i came back in still nothing so i sat there for about 5 and then all of a sudden it started gasping for air!!!!!! then after about 30 mins under the lamp it opened its eyes and started peeping!! and so now its A OK! its running around and now there are three little turkey chicks in our smaller brooder that i made so this dosent happen agian!! but there are three more eggs to go they are hatching one after the other daily! they are pure bred Narragansett i think lol i have 3 Narragansett turkeys (1 tom and 2 hens) and then i have a royal palm tom and a white tom not shure what it is but they are still young almost grown but not ready to breed.
