When will they combine together

    14, 13 week olds and 18, 9 week old's. Like two separate flocks, they do mingle together but then when its time to take a nap or forage around the pasture they are in the separate flocks. Not really any fighting amongst the two flocks, just a little peck here and there from the older bunch.

    Curious if others have the same issues and will they ever integrate?

    My two flocks took a couple months till they started to stick together, so just give them time and they will figure it out.

    Quote:Mine are 4 and 9 weeks old. Similar story except that when I came out late to get them. They were huddled together sleeping. Of course the next morning they were separate. I figure it will take a while.
