When will they lay?

I was looking around to see just when I could expect eggs out of my Ameraucanas and Olive Eggers. Am I reading things right that it takes up to 30 weeks or longer before they start laying?! That means these little buggers I hatched on Easter won't start giving me eggs till NOVEMBER!!!

As you gain experience with chickens you will find that no one can really tell you when they will lay or do much of anything else. They are all individuals and will do what they will do. I've had pullets start to lay at 16 weeks, I've had others not lay for 9 months. Those were hatched out of the same flock.
