when will they lay.

So my chickens were hatched 1st week in March. When should I expect them to lay their first eggs I have heard 20 weeks, 16wks and 23. There is a huge gap in those days and I am not sure what to believe. I have RIR and black austroloops.

Unfortunately we have no control on when they start. With the breeds you have I would expect eggs anywhere between 18 and 23 weeks. It's a wide gap, but most likely they will start before that 23 week mark.
