When will they stop laying?

My gold comets are about 1 1/2 yrs old. They laid through the winter last year and instead of getting 4-5 eggs a day from 5 hens, I'm getting 3-4. Are they slowing down in production? When will their production be negligible?

It could be they need more daylight, or try adding some cayenne pepper to their diet. Are they beginning to moult?
