When you’re so food motivated you forget to be afraid

When chicks are hatched by broody mommas at my place they usually end up skittish. I can’t be there all the time so it’s understandable. Well my polish hatched seven- unfortunately we lost one- chicks a few days ago. You know how new babies tend to be super skittish like that so yeah. Well I always feed her separately so that mom and babies can get plenty of food without competition. Well when I approached, two of them skittered out of the next and ran up to me. Of course I was holding a scoop full of feed but still. However as soon as I took another step they scurried back under momma. Still cute though lol.
