Up to 5 pips now!!!! so exciting....can't keep my eyes off the bator

was worried about my first egg that pipped yesterday, it has now made a little progress !

How many days after day 21 do still wait for a pip? Could I expect up to day 23 ? I still see only 1egg out of my 2 dozen move a little every now and then,my wife thinks she heard a cheep one time.

Leave them in there at least until the end of day 25. If your temps were low at some point during incubation you could have a delayed hatch. Moving eggs are a good sign.

Find something else to do so you don't drive yourself crazy or mess with the eggs.

Depending on what kind of incubator you have... it is entirely possible for you to have cold spots in the bator that will develop slower than others.. 1 degree difference can easily make a day or more difference in hatch date.

It doesn't hurt to leave them in longer.. just keep the humidity up. You can try candling or do the float test to try and see if there is movement..

went to bed last night and I was up to 3 babies!!!!

woke up to 6!!!!!!

last egg has pipped...................hoping for a 100% hatch!!!!!!!!!!!!
