Where are my Eggs !!!!!!!

They aren't molting. I know they need a break to recover. I just was hoping that they would start laying soon

I always hear about lights making them lay and was hoping that by chance the light I'm using for heat would also make them start laying. I guess I'll just have to be patient

I'm going crazy here I can't wait for peeps

Mine hadn't laid since the week before Thanksgiving until yesterday. They're in several different coops with different setups, but I didn't have an egg from any of them. I changed their feed to a different layer pellet on Sunday, and maybe that made the difference.

Well they will be out of this food soon and then I will be putting them on something for show so maybe that will get them going

White light on all the time will mess them up. At night you should use a red heat lamp.

I am in the same situation, no eggs for the last month or more.
This winter I added a light fixture in the coop that is on a timer to give 14 hours of light. I never did this the last few years so I thought I was going to be ahead of mother nature and trick the girls. No such luck.
I would say that 10 of my hens will be 2 in April and 10 will be 3 in April, judging from the feathers on the floor I think they all molted at the same time. So I thought until I found this site...
I think that the eggs that are getting layed are getting eaten. I found a egg yesterday that was half eaten (the half I found was frozen). So now I am thinking that this is a combination of me not collecting eggs more often and possibly that the 16% layer formula isn't good enough for this cold winter we have been having.
Now that I am writing this, I have another thought. I switched feed companies last June. The past few winters were with a different feed mill. Hmmm, maybe the current feed mill is not formulating what my girls need??

There could be a million reasons couldn't there??? On Nov. 4th my Golden Retriever had 8 pups in the barn. The last one was given away last week. Stress from the barking and playing???
